Privacy Policy

Cerul is made by Panacea-Tech, LLC in Eastman, Georgia. This page explains what we collect, why, and who else touches it. The short version: we use your data to run Cerul for you, we don't sell it, and we don't run ads.

What we collect

• Account info: your name, email, phone, business name and address, and the people you invite.
• Your business records: quotes, invoices, payments, jobs, calendar, expenses, photos, files, and posts you create or upload.
• Your customers' details, as you or they enter them: names, emails, phone numbers, and job addresses.
• Payment records: amounts, dates, and status from Stripe. Card numbers go straight to Stripe. We never see or store them.
• Phone line (if you add one): caller numbers, messages taken, and call transcripts.
• Assistant chats: what you ask the AI assistant and what it answers, so it can keep the thread.
• Usage logs: basic technical logs (pages hit, errors, timestamps, IP address) that keep the service running and secure.

Why we use it

To run Cerul for you: build and send your quotes and invoices, take payments, book appointments, answer your phone, post to your socials, give you your numbers, bill your subscription, and fix things when they break. We don't sell your data, rent it out, or use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

We use a small set of service providers, and each one gets only what it needs for its job:

• Cloudflare Hosts this website and the app, and stores your records and files.
• Hetzner Rents us the private server that runs the Cerul back end.
• Stripe Handles our subscription billing and the payments your customers make to you.
• Clerk Runs sign-in for you and your crew.
• Resend Delivers emails: quotes, invoices, booking confirmations, reminders.
• Anthropic Powers the AI assistant in your cockpit.
• OpenAI Reads photos, turns voice notes into text, reads replies aloud, and powers the AI phone line.
• Twilio Runs the phone line, if you add one, with its speech partners Deepgram and ElevenLabs.
• Zernio Publishes posts to the social accounts you connect.
• fal.ai Generates images and video for social posts, if you use that tool.
• Google Fonts Serves the fonts on this website.

When you connect Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, or YouTube, posts you approve go to those accounts under those platforms' own policies. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Where it lives

Your records are stored with Cloudflare and processed on our private server, which isn't open to the public internet. Your records are backed up every night to separate storage. Access is limited to the people who run Cerul.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your company, its account and records are deleted. Copies can stay in our nightly backups for a limited time after that; email us if you want them purged sooner. You can export your books as CSV at any time before you go.

Your customers' data

For the customers you serve, you're in charge of their information and we handle it on your behalf. When a customer approves a quote or pays an invoice, they see your terms and a short privacy note, and we record that they accepted them. Customers can view their own quotes and invoices through the links you send them. If a customer asks you to fix or delete their info, update it in Cerul or email us and we'll help.

The AI assistant

When you use the assistant, the parts of your records it needs to answer go to our AI providers to produce a reply. Money math (prices, totals, tax) never goes through AI. It's fixed calculation from your settings.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. No ad trackers, no analytics beacons, no selling your browsing to anyone. Loading this website does request fonts from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address like any web request.

Your choices

You can see, change, export, or delete your data from inside Cerul, or email us and we'll do it for you. We'll answer within 30 days.

Children

Cerul is a tool for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect children's information.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email account owners and update the date above before it takes effect.
